Be Our Guest!

We've been pretty lucky to have several visitors lately. It definitely adds a little fun for us to have some extra playmates

Grandpa came to keep Tinley a few days and got to play lots of fun games while he was here.

Then this weekend the Ritters had a wedding to go to up this way so we got to see them... and me and Tinley got to hang with Savannah during the wedding. (I didn't have the good camera since Parker and Brandon were using it so lots of blurry pictures here:(

Tinley tried to take very good care of her...although in the picture below I'm not sure if Savannah liked her outfit Tinley picked for her at Discovery Place:)

Girls just want to have fun!

Savannah was such a sweet girl and we found a few things she was really excited about...like this convertible. Watch out Mom and Dad- she looked pretty comfortable behind the wheel of this car!

We went to a little petting zoo at a neighborhood Fall Festival. These girls loved getting their hands on the animals.

Savannah's favorite...the goat. Maybe she was thinking it was a ram since she is a Tarheel born and bred.

Meanwhile Brandon and Parker were on Parker's first boy scouting camping event. Here they are in their sleeping bags.

Looks like the scenery was great!

Parker won some ribbons in the events of the day. They were for frisbee throwing and a relay race. These are essential skills for survival in the wild;)

I think they had a great trip!

When we all got back together, we remembered it was time for the Statesville Balloon Festival. Despite our tired crew, we figured we could enjoy a few balloons to end out the weekend.
*one of our first "dates" back in middle school was chasing balloons at the Burlington festival with my family- Brandon got sick:( but I guess it didn't turn him off too badly.

This is the second time we decided to head that way when we knew the balloons were launching. We like to watch them and see if we can find where they land.

We found them and got to see several land in this field...and no one got sick in the process;)
