Pumpkins and Butterbeans

We are tired after a busy weekend so just a bunch of pictures to share.  We know this week will be full of pictures too so wanted to make sure to post these first. Let's just say we saw lots of pumpkins and a few butterbeans too:)

Moments in-between

When Monday morning rolls around and the alarm clock goes off, it can be hard to think of the moments in between rushing out the door, teaching, working, report cards, homework, errands to run and people to feed...but it is these moments in between all of that that we enjoy the most. We are thankful.

Parker playing with baby Braxton.

Tinley in her favorite pair of my "wedding" shoes. I do believe she walks in them better than I do.

A little playing before dance class.  Sound of music anyone?

And everytime we are at Target, my children beg to be photographed with the big red ball.

And the big red circle. And because it makes us happy, we do a little photo session right there.

Sometimes these two really bug each other...and then sometimes they realize just how much they love each other.

Today they were fussing with each other over silly things...and just as I was starting to feel discouraged, they decided to argue who loved the other more- I think there's hope.

Although it was a misty Saturday morning, we went out to celebrate the ribbon cutting of our favorite park being redone.

Complete with music from our church, food, and the Jet's Pizza guy...We're not picky...if you're in a costume, we will get excited.

Climbing with friends!

Parker and Brandon camped out with the boy scouts Saturday night...where they met and fought real knights and made their own sword and shield. Fancy.

Today we went for our final Carowinds adventure of the season to their pumpkin party...where costumes are welcome. And we like any excuse for that.

Parker pulled the lucky duck and picked Jimmy Johnson out of all the prizes. His father's son.

Strawberry Shortcake wanted to ride the horse with pink hearts...which matched her very nicely.

Snooper Heroes...

After all that Parker still kept his eyes open to read in the car...He found my book set of Chronicles of Narnia...and he's interested. Love my little reader.

Fall and "Festibals"

We love that fall brings about many activities and festivals...or "festibals" as Tinley calls it!

Here's Parker and his buddy with matching missing front teeth!

Tinley sporting her pumpkins!

Playing at the park with Claire and Oakley...

Someone else is getting interested in bike riding like big brother.

Fall Festival one (lacking pictures bc my phone died!)

 Fall Festival Two!

And yes her tp made it through the seat...she's got a good arm even in her heels.

Family Photo Booth;)

Then Parker got to go on a fun party play date with his friends. I think they did everything at Nascar Speed Park!

And there was an army theme to the party...I think he was inspired since he has been in camo all day!

And our little teacher continues to have class...This is her line with a line leader and caboose...and she's helping them walk across the parking lot very carefully!

Grace and Chocolate

I had the privilege of going on a retreat with some ladies from my church...Our weekend included a theme of chocolate and a study about grace. Pretty good stuff. Here are some of our pictures. Blessed.

I was happy to return to these faces who had a great weekend with Daddy, Ganny, and Grandaddy! They had gained some pumpkins...

And Parker lost not one but two teeth while I was gone. This picture is a little strange but you can see that big window in his mouth. So cute!
