Moments in-between

When Monday morning rolls around and the alarm clock goes off, it can be hard to think of the moments in between rushing out the door, teaching, working, report cards, homework, errands to run and people to feed...but it is these moments in between all of that that we enjoy the most. We are thankful.

Parker playing with baby Braxton.

Tinley in her favorite pair of my "wedding" shoes. I do believe she walks in them better than I do.

A little playing before dance class.  Sound of music anyone?

And everytime we are at Target, my children beg to be photographed with the big red ball.

And the big red circle. And because it makes us happy, we do a little photo session right there.

Sometimes these two really bug each other...and then sometimes they realize just how much they love each other.

Today they were fussing with each other over silly things...and just as I was starting to feel discouraged, they decided to argue who loved the other more- I think there's hope.

Although it was a misty Saturday morning, we went out to celebrate the ribbon cutting of our favorite park being redone.

Complete with music from our church, food, and the Jet's Pizza guy...We're not picky...if you're in a costume, we will get excited.

Climbing with friends!

Parker and Brandon camped out with the boy scouts Saturday night...where they met and fought real knights and made their own sword and shield. Fancy.

Today we went for our final Carowinds adventure of the season to their pumpkin party...where costumes are welcome. And we like any excuse for that.

Parker pulled the lucky duck and picked Jimmy Johnson out of all the prizes. His father's son.

Strawberry Shortcake wanted to ride the horse with pink hearts...which matched her very nicely.

Snooper Heroes...

After all that Parker still kept his eyes open to read in the car...He found my book set of Chronicles of Narnia...and he's interested. Love my little reader.
