A Berry Happy (3 year old) Girl

Although today was technically one day before Tinley's real birthday, it was declared the "birthday party day." And let's face it, that makes it pretty real

She started practicing holding three fingers up this morning as she asked over and over...is it time to go yet?

Our party this year was at the arts center and included a lot of Tinley's favorite things!

Swings...

Dress ups...

 Art...

With full access to All those supplies!

 Books!

Presents...

Strawberry Shortcake...

And best of all...she got to do it all surrounded by her buddies and family!

So fun to see everyone enjoying and celebrating with our baby girl. What a blessing!

This is Tinley soon after the party. So tired she fell asleep out to eat. Busy day!

There was also another birthday this week for Brandon. Now that he's sharing the week with Tinley I think his celebration might have gotten shorter. This is the only picture I have of him on his birthday, but love how happy these two look! He's such a good Dad, he doesn't even pout about sharing! We love you and appreciate you!

Spring Break 2013

It makes me feel better to look at the amount of pictures I have for our Spring Break trip. Maybe just maybe it is an illusion in my mind that makes it seem more like a couple of hours than a couple of days. How is it Friday already? So thankful for a great time!

Road Trip:)

We headed immediately to the beach to use these water guns from Butterbean...but didn't even make it all the way out there before the battle began.

Tinley started with a little slower paced activity.

Booya even brought refills so we didn't have to wade in the water, but I think that happened eventually anyways!

Meanwhile we enjoyed our Britts donuts- Yum!

And as always, some people enjoy feeding the birds while everyone else on the beach freaks out.

This eventually turned in to sneaking up on the birds once the food was gone.

Too cold to play in the water- no problem there's plenty of sand!

Enjoying the rest of this beautiful day!

Our other days at the beach were not "beach days", but we got in lots of other activities to keep us busy!

Petting a baby shark.

Tinley and I went to visit the Carmichael girls!

When we arrived and realized we had matching outfits, the girls had lots of fun being twins! They entertained Margo with some interesting lullabies!

 Cooked up some great food...

And even managed some yard work!

The next day we made our way to this little zoo.

We had several interesting sightings at the zoo...and we fit in just perfect!

If you have to eat, it might as well be at Chuck E Cheese!

Margo really enjoyed her first visit:)

Lydia was a big fan of this mouse!

A late night search for some ice cream...

And a serious game of charades to end our trip!

We think Spring Break was just what we needed!
