Octoberish things

Rainy Season

It's been a bit of a rainy season around here (literally and figuratively) but we all know you've got to have rain (and maybe a hurricane) every now and then~ The children's lesson today was about Noah and the rainbow promise. Never are too old to remember "God keeps His promises."
We still managed some fun despite our weather, stomach bugs, etc and we are thankful for it!

Tinley finally got to paint a plate (so she's part of the family according to her!)
 

 

Parker opted for some mugs for him and for me...even though neither of us drink coffee. We will be drinking water out of mugs for a while I guess.

When you live as far away as we do from school, you do what we do and drive to school and then walk over to join the walkers on "walk to school day."
