Enjoying...

Here are some things we've been enjoying- Also going to start trying to document some of the funny quotes and conversations from the kiddos. When Parker was born, I was sure I'd never forget anything he did or said but seven years later things are getting a little fuzzy!

The other day I heard this conversation from the backseat:
Parker (to me): "When are you going to get retired like our grandparents?"
Me: "It will be a while- maybe when you and Tinley are in college." (Just trying to give some perspective- I'm sure I'll be working much longer!!)
Parker: "Well we won't be in college at the same time."
Me: "Ok, well maybe when you get married and Tinley is in college."
Tinley: "Parker I want to marry you."
Parker: " You can't- Dad told me it's against the law."
Tinley: "I want to marry Daddy too, but he told me you can't marry somebody who's already married and he's married to Mommy."
Parker: "Yep, that would be stealing."
(They both resumed to stay very puzzled that this marrying stuff is so complicated with out breaking any of the rules...Who we are going to marry has become a popular theme since our two weddings last year.)

Some purple art with our friends..

Lots of outside time...and some people trying to avoid my pictures!

Servicing a car at DPK...

Tinley has told us she wants to change her name to Danica Patrick...

I'm thinking it's coming from her Daddy- This is the view he's been enjoying!

Thank you for continuing to ask about and pray for Cassie!  When she was in the hospital, she had a special visit from a friend Evie who had been in the hospital a year earlier for the same reason Cassie was there. Evie so sweetly wanted to come spend some time with Cassie when she heard about it. This week Evie got a new kidney...and Cassie went to visit her. These are two special girls who have had to deal with so much!  To read more about her journey and how you can pray, visit cotaforeview.com/node/463

My Blog Runneth Over...

Truly my cup is not just half full over our last week of fun days...but my cup runneth over with joy...therefore my blog runneth over and I had a hard time trying to pick just a few pictures. Happy Snow Day (s)!...Happy Valentines Day! Happy Girl Time Road Trip! Happy Baby Time!

We have NEVER seen this much snow at our house!

  First Snow Cream...mmmm!

In the south we play with our sand buckets in the snow. Multi purpose!

Sledding adventures continue and get better and better!

A Valentine/possibly horror movie snowman. Definitely one of a kind in the neighborhood.

Night sledding!

We were all impressed with how nicely this snow packed to roll a giant snowball!

Snow is melting and Valentine's Day is here....a little tutu snow pose!

Happy Valentines Day treats from my sweet!

We were excited that Anna and Kaylee Grace came and that we got to try out our new photo props. It was tricky getting all these props at the right place and for some of us to try not to eat them!

 Look at these Valentine Girls!

Parker says he is Willy Wonka here- I can see it!

Tinley and I  were happy to road trip with Anna and Kaylee Grace as they were headed to make some visits. These girls had some fun (and some sleep) in the back seat!

We all met sweet Anderson for the first time. Love this bundle:)

Tinley was happy to see some of her older buddies on our trip too!

And these two friends met for the first time! I think they really understood one another!

What a fun week and a fun road trip...feeling so very blessed!

Happy "Re"new(ing)

We had an exciting weekend of celebrating...and our first ever "re"New Years party. Saturday was Adam's birthday...and he got a well deserved surprise party...along with a side of a New Year's that we could celebrate with Cassie. Let's try that again 2014. So thankful that God can renew our bodies, minds, and hearts...this is GREAT news!  Thinking we might start having several "re"new years parties a year. We all need them right?

"But those that wait upon the Lord shall RENEW their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not be faint."
Isaiah 40:31

Here are some party pictures!

Countdown time!

Happy  (re)New Year!!

To top off our celebrating I got to go to the Mother/Son event at the Charlotte Checkers game with this handsome boy.

We  had a great date!

"Snowtally" Great Times

Yes we are some of those people that get excited over a snowflake and own a sled even if it is rarely used.  We found some places to sled even though the grass peeked through the snow....and I'm pretty sure we squeezed all the fun we could out of this inch (or less) of the white stuff. Wouldn't have it any other way!

We went to the circus last night...not many pictures to show for it but we had a great time! And upon entering we wondered why we didn't buy a light up spinny thing and just bring it with us...because you can't show your face in the circus without a light up thing that spins right? and they cost a ridiculous amount... and now the circus has you right where they want you:)

I'm sure we will be doing circus acts around here for a while (beyond our normal circus;)
