From Lake to Shining Sea

What a fun week we had starting at the lake...and heading back to the beach. We are water logged, a little tired and happy from our trips...and we only have a few days to rest up for our next adventure.  I'm pretty sure we can manage:)


There was lots of fishing...or should I say waiting for fish.

Parker's favorite is still the jet ski and he's looking forward to the day he can drive alone (watch out!)

After packing up from the lake, we went back to the beach with Carly and Christopher.

Weekday Adventures

Nice to be able to explore some places old and new (to us)...and nice to have mornings that allow for snuggling...or dancing...or playing...in pajamas- and afternoons that allow for random adventures.

So many things to be thankful for- we definitely need to count our blessings!

Summer Blastoff

How much fun can we pack in to our first week of the summer...we were certainly trying to find out. We went for our first Carolina Beach visit of the season.

We got a little visit in with these girls- goggles were a big hit!

Then Daddy and the Brennemans came to continue the fun!

Feeding the birds is a favorite for the kids right now- though no one else on Earth really appreciates it very much.
